DAVA HEALTH, INC, TO PURCHASE ALTA VISTA REGIONAL HOSPITAL LAS VEGAS, NM (October 2, 2023)—DAVA Health, Inc. (DAVA), headquartered in Nashville, TN, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Alta Vista Regional Hospital (AVRH), an acute hospital in Las Vegas, NM and its related physician clinics and other outpatient facilities.
Joining DAVA will bring AVRH into its growing network of southern hospitals. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, DAVA owns hospitals in the nearby states of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
“Community hospitals like ours are crucial in providing essential healthcare services to local residents,” said Rob Nelson, Interim CEO of Alta Vista Regional Hospital. “Joining DAVA means that we will become a nonprofit healthcare organization, which is the right next step to help us sustain healthcare in San Miguel County.”

The management team is committed to employee retention and has indicated that employment will continue for substantially all employees in good standing at the time of transition.
The transaction is expected to be finalized on November 30, pending any required regulatory approvals.
